Day 1 – 5th May 2026
The first day of the International Student Convention & Expo 2026 was a productive and exciting experience for the facilitators and students representing Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Islamabad. The institution proudly showcased its ongoing training, innovative projects, and research-based initiatives at the expo.
Preparations for the event began well before the actual day, starting with the careful selection of students from a large pool of applicants. Significant effort was dedicated to refining projects, organizing presentations, and preparing display materials to ensure professional representation of the institution. The arrangement and setup of the stall required teamwork, coordination, and attention to detail from both facilitators and students. The facilitators included Dr. Nesheman Huma (Research Officer), Dr. Aisha Nasir Hashmi (IPFP Officer), and Dr. Zaid Habib (Physiology).
Throughout the day, students confidently presented their projects and interacted with visitors, demonstrating remarkable dedication, courage, and professionalism. Their enthusiasm and hard work were highly appreciated by attendees, making the institution proud. The response received from visitors was overwhelming and encouraging, as many showed great interest in the displayed projects and research work.
The event also provided students with an excellent opportunity to enhance their communication, presentation, and networking skills in a professional environment. Participation in such academic activities plays an important role in promoting confidence, innovation, teamwork, and research culture among students.
Day 2 – 6th May 2026
The second day marked the successful conclusion of the International Student Convention & Expo 2026 at FAST University. The facilitators and students remained actively engaged throughout the event, efficiently managing a large number of visitors and interactions at the stall.
Students enthusiastically showcased their hands-on trainings, innovative ideas, and research posters with confidence and professionalism. The stall remained vibrant and energetic throughout the day, reflecting the hard work, commitment, and teamwork of everyone involved. Visitors appreciated the creativity and academic efforts demonstrated by the students, making the participation highly successful and rewarding.
One of the major highlights of the day was the visit of the Honourable Rector of Bahria University and other respected dignitaries, who visited the stall, appreciated the students’ efforts, and encouraged them with motivating words. Their acknowledgment greatly boosted the morale and confidence of the participants.
The expo served as a valuable practical learning experience, providing students with exposure to professional interaction, teamwork, and research presentation. Such events are essential in developing leadership qualities, enhancing professional growth, and encouraging students to actively participate in academic and research activities.
Special thanks are extended to Bahria University College of Medicine for providing this valuable opportunity for learning and exposure. Sincere appreciation is also extended to Sr. Prof. Dr. Wafa Omer, Director Research BUHSCI, for her excellent leadership, encouragement, and continuous support throughout the event.
Overall, the two-day event was a highly enriching and memorable experience that successfully highlighted the talent, dedication, and collaborative spirit of both students and facilitators.
